Tamer Yacoub, M.D.
Dr. Tamer Yacoub graduated from Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, Cairo with honors. Dr. Yacoub completed his internship at Jersey City Medical Center, Medical Center of Central Massachusetts, and a Fellowship in Clinical Endocrinology at Boston University Hospital. Dr. Yacoub is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, and Diabetes and Metabolism. In addition, Dr. Yacoub has received many awards. He is also active at both St. Anne’s Hospital and Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. Dr. Yacoub is a national speaker on different topics including diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and osteoporosis.
Martin Fogle, M.D., MS, FACS
Dr. Martin Fogle is a fellowship-trained, Board Certified Specialist in the management of vascular disease. He graduated from Stanford University, and from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine in 1979 and earned his Master’s Degree in Healthcare Management at the Harvard School of Public Health in 2005. Dr. Fogle trained in both general and vascular surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. He then practiced and taught vascular surgery in Norfolk, Virginia before joining Prima CARE in 2007. With over 30 years of experience in the medical, surgical, and endovascular management of vascular disease, he has also lectured nationally and served as the Director of Endovascular Services in Fall River. In 2012, Dr. Fogle became the Chief Medical Officer of Prima CARE and is responsible for administrative issues related to the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective care.
Jennifer Gillis, Nurse Practitioner
Jennifer is an experienced adult nurse practitioner, familiar with weight management, diabetes, patient education, and strategies for general medical wellness. She has practiced in various settings – office, hospital, and home – and has always advocated a comprehensive approach to disease prevention and treatment. Medi-Weightloss® welcomes Jennifer as an important resource on our medical team. Jennifer is a native of southeastern Massachusetts and is fluent is Portuguese.
Anne M. Camelio, Nurse Practitioner
Anne joins Prima CARE following an impressive nursing career in Internal Medicine, oncology, and rehabilitation medicine and with experience as a practitioner of the Medi-Weightloss® Program. Anne believes in healthy diet, healthy life habits, and a medically sound approach to accomplishing the goal of sustainable weight loss.
Rebecca Brodeur, Office Manager
Rebecca has worked in the healthcare field as a sales representative for many years. She has joined Prima CARE Medi-Weightloss® as the Office Manager. Rebecca is passionate about guiding her staff to the ultimate goal of helping patients reach their full weight loss. She strongly believes that all patients can succeed and live a healthy lifestyle.
Michelle Campo, Medical Assistant
Michelle has been with Medi-Weightloss® since 2011 as a back office medical assistant. She is very passionate about holistic nutrition and weight loss and strives to help every patient meet their goals. Michelle has a certificate in Food, Health, and Nutrition from Bristol Community College and is a practitioner of Reiki, which is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation. In addition, she is a huge animal lover and loves walking her pit bull, Brooklyn.
Established in 2005, Medi-Weightloss® offers a physician-supervised weight loss program known as The One That Works!® Physicians and medical professionals provide individualized care based on each patient’s goals, current health status, and medical history. The program includes weekly consultations that focus on nutrition, lifestyle, and exercise. Education is provided on how to lose weight in the real world using real food without prepackaged meals. Patients learn how to keep weight off through a specialized Wellness Phase .In addition to weight loss programs for adults resulting in over 3 million pounds lost, Medi-Weightloss® offers specialized weight loss programs for adolescents and diabetics.
