Ryan Unger, MD
Dr. Ryan Unger is ABFM certified and specializes in family medicine. Dr. Unger is experienced in primary care, wound care, behavioral heath, and weight loss. He attended the University of Tennessee for his undergraduate degree, the Caribbean School of Medicine for his medical degree, and performed his residency at UT Medical School. He has helped thousands of patients working in his private practice, Faculty Physicians, and at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Dr. Unger has extensive knowledge and is passionate about health and fitness. His holistic approach to treat the entire patient rather than the symptom, and his knowledge of cutting edge medicine has lead the way in defining new and effective ways to help patients optimize their health. When Dr. Ryan Unger is out of the office, he enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife and three children.
Srinivas Boppana, MD
Dr. Boppana is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology and has devoted compassion for patients overcoming obstacles. He received his medical degree from Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine and performed his residency at University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA. With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Boppana prides himself on his compassionate patient centered care. In his spare time, Dr. Boppana enjoys cooking with his wife, watching college basketball, and playing with his English bulldog, Buster.
Nilesh Patel, MD
Dr. Patel has been practicing for over fifteen years and is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology. He received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX and did his Radiation Oncology residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. In his free time, Dr. Patel enjoys Disney with his two children and wife. He also enjoys being very active in his church.
Jamie Turner, MSN, FNP-C
Jamie, born and raised in Knoxville, TN, is a Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She attended East Tennessee State University where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Microbiology. Jamie then attended Lincoln Memorial University where she obtained her BSN and MSN. Jamie worked passionately as a cardiac nurse at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Her years of experience in cardiac care cultivated a deep interest in disease prevention, health promotion, and wellness. During her free time, Jamie enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and one year old son.
Jordyn Minai, IBCLC, BBA
Jordyn grew up in Knoxville, TN and moved to San Diego, CA to pursue her bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of California San Diego. While there, she received her license for lactation consulting. Her passions for helping others achieve their goals sourced from her time spent educating new mothers. After completing her education in Business Administration, concentrating in healthcare and project management, she devoted her knowledge and experience to helping others in the healthcare industry. Jordyn has experience in dentistry, neonatal care, and pain management. She enjoys helping people pursue their goals and overcome all obstacles. With her limited spare time, she enjoys coaching her son’s soccer team and playing with her dogs, Remi and Sydney.
Brandy Calfee, CMA
Brandy received her Certification in Medical Assisting from Roane State. Her background consists of dedicated patient centered care with over 10 years experience in dentistry. She also has worked in drug rehabilitation, as she has a passion for helping others overcome obstacle and achieve their personal goals. She is not only our patients’ supporter, but she is also a mom of three children. Her favorite thing to do is to put smiles on her patients’ faces.
Nick has been a resident of Tennessee since 1979. After attending high school in Knoxville he received a degree in International Economics from Tennessee Wesleyan University. At the age of 25 he started a distribution center, delivering dietary supplements to health food stores, colleges, and hospitals. Nick created A1Supplements.com in 1998, pioneering the way for customer direct supplement sales.
